I also have been into index funds, and eventually want to move all into real estate- The podcasts are great, and I would reccomend the books as well A residential 3-4 unit is a great start, I started with a house hack. 

It is not just valuables, it is also favorites.

I tried taking a free Landlord class in the area just to get my feet wet but it fell through so I decided to take action myself and bought several books of Amazon.

As a new investor, I only have background in books and podcasts.

I am new and firmly in the education stage of my future real estate career I have read some great books and have been listening to the pod casts non stop.

So, I stumbled recently on a BP podcast that pointed me to a Real Estate book that I began (listening to) and soon realized, It was way ahead of my knowledge and I just couldn't comprehend it.

I am currently bedridden and cannot walk or work yet but I have spent about 3 years learning all that I can including reading a book about every 2 weeks.
