Hubby and I have been debating whether or not he should quit his FT job as a carpenter after he gets his license.

Regarding the condo, I've been debating whether or not I should pay off the mortgage entirely or use those liquid funds to invest into other assets (stocks, Index funds, IRAs, etc).

I am in Tallahasse, FL and debating on going with a management company, an individual person or just myself.

For my first home, I'm debating whether to buy a duplex, which would range around 400-500k, or to buy a 200k-230k 1 bed 1 bath condo in the burbs for starters. 

I've debated the water/sewer/garbage piece a lot.  

I'm moving to Ridgecrest in a couple weeks and am debating on buying a house while I'm there - not 100% sure about the area.

I have a question, which I know has been debated several times on BP, based on AZ law, do you need a license to wholesale?

Personally, I debated doing the RE Assistant thing.

There are 2 trains of thought with this age old debate.  

I am debating between either: a) acquiring a rental in one of the local transitional neighborhoods via conventional or owner finance (and would need to make a down payment) or b) renting out my single family home and moving to a new place (as yet identified nearby).
