I definitely believe that the trip @Ethan Edwards and I took last week was an eye opener relative to making solid business and friendship connections.

Here are some of the more memorable things I've had to do with STRs and tenants:Call PD when I saw an intruder in a house with a security camera.Call PD when I found a sleeping intruder in a house w/o a security cam.Call EMS when I found a tenant unresponsive in O/D state.Call PD when they found one of my tenants who had deceased by some railroad tracks and they needed next of kin.Buy a 1 way bus ticket for a tenant to get home, Kansas to Georgia.Numerous flat tire repairs, jump starts, and lockouts.The rest is pretty boring.

If you have 20+ units those twice-yearly (for me) trips don't have much of an impact.

If you are ever plan to make a trip to Colorado make it when we have a local meetup and come out and meet some of the regulars on the site. 

While I occasionally trip up, for 99.9% of what I right, I am proud of it and would continue to stand by it.C.  

I am from south FL but I will be taking a trip to Philadelphia this week to get a feel for the market.

Nanaimo is becoming a hot spot for people working in Vancouver, and is only going to explode with the new proposed foot passenger ferry that's coming, with a 68 minute trip from Nanaimo to Vancouver.No secret about retirees coming out here, and speaking with local realtors, it's increasing dramatically.
