I look at rent/square foot for other Zillow listings.There are also sites like rentmonkeyTrulia (basically Zillow) has a nice map that you can interact with: http://www.trulia.com/real_estate/Pittsburgh-Pennsylvania/market-trends/I think for a lot of those things it depends on how urban your areas.
