You get the picture.  

Then look at the picture(s) and decide on a course of action. 

I've seen people post before and after pictures of flips or rehabs on buy and holds there.

I'm also thinking I'll put them away in storage, inventorizing them, taking pictures, and holding them.

Lenders pay these folks to board up, drive by, take pictures of front and rear of properties of houses of owners not paying their mortgage and when there is a foreclosure pending.What I do is offer to pay them for every address they refer to me that I buy.

I think most investors do it because they don't know any better and/or they just want to impress their friends with the pictures they post on Facebook.
