I was looking at stuff in Port Coquitlam online today which got me thinking enough to write this post.Also, the new Bosa property in New West look nice but I imagine buying brand new isn't a great investment idea.Where do you invest? 

Im on podcast 11 and have plowed through a few books on real estate and business with more on the list (if any of you need books I have a library that is accessible online just message or email or text me).  

I enjoy learning as much as I can about real estate online and this site seems very helpful!

Starting a business is easy and can be done online in a matter of a few clicks for a few hundred dollars.  

I would keep checking the MLS and also check and see if there is any wholesales in the area and reach out to a few and tell them what you are looking for and be ready to move when what you are looking for come on line.

Learn about online and offline marketing to set yourself up for success. 

I'm having some trouble finding a good one online.

(I am STILL getting calls from letters from 2007.)Hi @Joshua WoollsFor someone just starting out or working in a new area I would use something like landwatch, zillow, any online selling forum to come up with a starting point for an offer.  

I just put out the rent sign yesterday in the window but didn't post anything online because the place wasn't ready yet- I hadn't even decided which vinyl planks to install downstairs and needed to steamclean the carpet upstairs. 

This will add competition and I am not an analyst nor an expert in supply/demand but one would think rents in the District and surrounding areas will not have large gains in the upcoming future because of all the rental units coming online in 2015 and 2016.Thoughts?
