If the complex needs a new roof, the pool refinished, repaving of the parking lot, landscaping, painting, any number of things, you as an owner get hit with the assessment.

A simple examination of the National Association of Realtors® Code of Ethics Article 4 outlines specifically how agents are to conduct themselves (if they are Realtors® that is) if acting on their own behalf.  

It's already been mentioned that it depends on the asset class which sport we go to in order to understand the park we are in.

Our market has become saturated with investors and the national gurus having been coming here doing their seminars non-stop for the past year or two making the situation worse as many, many more wannabes enter the market.

Say something like:  I am a wonderful two bedroom/one bath home in a tranquil community close to this school, this park, that shopping district, this attraction. 

Even the parking lot maintenance is done by the building owner(he has a business in one of the units).I know some banks and investors don't like to work with separate owners of the land and building but in this situation, the building has already been on the ground for decades producing income.Are there any downsides to just owning the dirt???

With easy access to Downtown employment, and ample parking, it is the type of location my fellow citizens would be proud to live in.Not only will the future tenets benefit from the increase in affordable housing, but so will the entire economy at large.
