I know it's also a niche to invest to those who travel for work.I wanted to get your thoughts and learn from those who went through this route.

The most similar scenario I encounter is folks who buy trailers for dirt cheap to rent out here. 60k entry (or whatever they are going for) then 600 a month to lease the pad/land.

This has been great as there has been a general decrease in the number of traveling medical professionals in our area, and those travelers have been more price-sensitive than during COVID.

I think STR is an experience based travel and with the right marketing /design, it can 100% be a viable investment.

Upstate New York will generally qualify with standard markets such as Travelers, Nationwide etc... there are a few other property programs that do very well depending on the size.

You might ask if they offer referrals for traveling professionals or families on extended stays.

I've heard so many success stories on the BP podcast of people who've done really well with the buy-and-hold strategy and have the freedom to travel and not have to work a 9-5 (unless they want to, of course) and can pursue other interests, so that is a huge dream of mine too.
