Since grout is porous, it might have some organic material soaked into it that the mold could feed on and it could cause stains that might be difficult to remove.

I get a call from a buyer saying that after a heavy rain, the roof leaked and the entire kitchen ceiling was soaked and falling down. 

I have limited real estate experience, but I have spent the past few months reading books, listening to BP podcasts, and soaking all of it up like a sponge.
