I feel your pain Andrew, As soon as I saw underwriters ripping apart my 70% deals with 700+ Ficos and Assets...I decided that mortgage was not going to pay the bills for a while.

There have been instances where people have felt that they were ripped off or felt that they were subject of fraud and decided to sue the person that did the short sale.

I suppose many of the gurus have earned their reputation of a scam, rip off, or whatever else you might want to call it.

Whole-heartedly agreed - Kilz is your best friend.....if it is true hard wood - you do have a choice though.....Start by ripping out the carpet - in a lot of cases - the pad is what is holding a good chunk of the smell....pull the pad & tack strips out - if they are stained....once that's out for a day or so - then you can re-evaluate.....if you're gonna re-carpet - try with the Kilz before replacing the sub floor....you MAY be ok....also - they have a water based Kilz - easier to use than the oil based....JMHO....Thanks - Ken

This guy should have NO reason to bother you unless he is ripping you off.

May be the way to go.I also may try to talk down the purchase price, the roofing contractor came by and was very worried about the asbetos shingle. and having them ripped off and replaced with vinyl siding.

So instead of assuming that I ripped somebody off try looking at the big picture.

However, once I get past that what-a-pain roadblock, I'm rip, roarin' ready to go.
