For me, it's buying doublewide manufactured homes on land.

I know of several companies here searching for new companies to expand their manufacturing facility.So, if any veteran REI’s are willing to pawn off some insightful information.

I've only turned to my credit union for financing, and they will not touch manufactured homes, I haven't looked further, but I expect most places will be the same.

@Ken Rishel, I don't see where TMHA meeting would benefit me because I don't deal in manufacturing homes.

I have found that banks are less happy to finance a property that is stick built, but I can never remember the difference between manufactured and the other option.

Hi Ben, I've lived in Toledo all my life...can't say it's anything unusual that makes jobs and renters, we have strong manufacturing with obvious ties to the automotive industry (Dana corp- parts supplier, Jeep- manufacturer, Owens Corning- insulation/bldg materials, Anderson's- agriculture/fertilizer, First Solar) Like any area we have some $250k and up neighborhoods with little crime and great schools...and some seedier areas where you will read about gang shootings about once a week.

The interviews they have on the podcasts are insanely educational.Got a wife and 20month old and work as mechanical/manufacturing engineer, along with some IT work.

Hello everyone, Ive interested to know if anyone has any information on the new laws regarding seller financing in regards to manufactured home sales.

I would personally try to cut a deal with a quality local window manufacturer.

Is the same true for manufactured/modular homes?
