The space is right on the corner of the best intersection in town.

Houston inner city is interesting because you can cross an intersection and the area can become less desirable.

It's close to highway 99 and Clay rd intersection.

The best way is to find the nearest major intersection actually listed on the map, then your street, then the outline of your site.

The visitor center has displays on how the washes have been built over the years to avoid damage from flash floods.Even those these washes have been built some streets and intersections still flood with water during monsoons. 

I've never made any purchase fitting this description because of the same concerns. primarily the concerns any would be good tenant might have with coming home /going out after sun down as well as having visitors living on a desolate street. in cases like that it can seem like a different nation to some people. now, if there are frames going up, big metal trash bins, contractors working on the block of the subject property then I'd say you have nothing to be concerned about. yet being as though there can be development down the street but no intentions on crossing that one intersection any time in the next 24+ months may be a factor on one way hand. however, on the other hand, you can still use those comps from a few blocks over to support your figures. the one sure way to defeat this obstacle or lessen the potential blow back is to purchase one or more lots on the same block. its never a sure thing when you're at the mercy of the bankers/lenders appraiser as apposed to your own. my coin.kudos,Mary 

Nothing like 50 years of 3 lanes in one direction, only to have the left lane suddenly disappear and force a left-turn-only scenario at every major intersection.

It was set up to be a huge restaurant - I know zoning may be an issue, but it's at the intersection of 2 state routes and across the street is a car mechanic and a lumber yard. 

I've never heard of any significant flooding to the extent there was significant property damage, but mostly flooded streets/intersections, as least as far as I've seen personally; I'm thinking of Hurricane Irma.

My goal is to help them find the perfect property, and that means I need to know how different property types, neighborhoods, and conditions intersect with the goals they have.
