We have a 2/2 condo in an attractive area in inland South OC (w-golfing, lake, community pool) we bought 4 years ago for $339k, and it's worth approx. $450k.  

Those that rank the highest in maximizing tax benefits are: Golf courses (that's right!)

I am currently looking at 2 BR homes on the Key West golf club. 

If you don't know where you're aiming then you'll never get where you want to be....I found this to be true not only with golf but also with investing and a bunch of other aspects of life.Set your target first and then fill in the blanks.

The market corrects itself and people get caught in the swings. 

If you can swing the extra payments due to the shorter repayment period this may be a much better way to go.

That is my philosophy which may not be for everyone but when my life savings is on the line, I swing to the side of caution.

But as reality sets in, I probably can't swing both financially at the same time. 

The houses are fully furnished and they supply some supplies as well as a gym, free golfing at a local gulf club, and frequent parties and BBQs.

Vernal has seen a down swing in house prices and I’m wondering what your opinion is on current trends and the future.
