I did the free steps, got prequalified and enlisted a real estate agent I hope I can trust.

I  always see Wharton being at the top of finance, real estate, etc. in posts and I read that to get in to Wharton you obviously need great grades (which I have) and something like great diversity or something and write a compelling essay on why you should be at Wharton(it's obviously harder than I made it sound), after Highs school I plan on enlisting in the Army for about 6 years, I'm an eagle scout and I am related to a founding father, other than that I dont have much more to put for the "Diversity/Culture section" Back to degrees the reason I don't want to get just a real estate degree is I would like something to fall back on in financing or something similar to real estate developing if the risk in real estate gets too high for me.

I work on base at Wright-Patt as well (as a civilian), and I spent enlisted time when I was in the Air Force at Shepperd AFB out there in Wichita Falls. 

I have a broker that I work with off and on, she got information that I contacted an agent directly (I just needed very specific information on a property and didn't want to bother her) and she sent me a somewhat nasty email saying that I should have enlist her to do my DD, that's what she's there for, and that there are certain protocols among agents, etc.

A lot of that you can do yourself or enlist the broker/agent to perform with you.

@Marshall Holmes Do you find that enlisted personal that are E4 or above treat your properties better?

@Neil Aggarwal And Neil certainly offers some sound advice on enlisting assistance from an investor friendly Realtor who has plenty of experience with deals such as what you are proposing.

I had a hard conversation with myself and thought my hard reset was going to be enlisting in the Navy.
