The caregiver was not family and the old man did not want to disinherit his biological heirs  so he provided the home at a modest price but he made the estate the beneficiary of a modest  private money mortgage to provide a monthly remainder for his own adult children who already owned other residences in the same community.All parties were served by this arrangement until the nurse's own son developed leukemia brought exorbitant demands for both money and time causing.  

However, I believe you are referring to what Illinois refers to as the Adult Guardianship program, where the county is actually administering the estate of a disabled or incompetent adult.  

What are the occupancy limits for unrelated adults in your cityA lot of people house hacking in Denver and Colorado Springs, the markets where we work, have discovered that the answers to those questions don't matter too much.

Does anyone have a minimum square footage for rooms that are manageable for rent by room for young adult tenants?

They raised her children there and one adult child is still living there with them.  

I decided against charging any late fee in the past.She is back in full time employment along with her adult children who are also on the lease and in full time employment but my contact is mostly restricted to her and she is quite unresponsive to my repeat requests that she pay as per lease.

Having two adults in a bedroom and one infant may be acceptable in a 100 square foot bedroom.
