If you are near colleges, ball parks, or football stadiums then you are in business especially if you are in a city where Airbnb is supported by the city.

And I had even read an article that the mayor or city commissioner (can't remember who exactly) was turning to the owner of the football team to help turn the city around.Jacksonville is geographically located in Florida where they have beaches, great marine/fishing lifestyle, they get three seasons (ish), are only a few hours drive away from Orlando and Atlanta and St Augustine.

@Julio Chacon Jr Columbus OH is a great market for short-term rentals with things like OSU (football and the college itself), traveling nurses over at children's hospital, and the Blue Jackets.

The landlord is not required to give the tenant a description and itemized list of deductions if:(1) the tenant owes rent when he surrenders possession of the premises; and(2) there is no controversy concerning the amount of rent owed....Being a landlord without having read the statutes is like playing pro football without knowing the rules of the sport.

For example, look at that boy on the bench in shorts, probably his girlfriend next to him, (probably on the college Football Team--Big Man on Campus), he is not going to fit into a closet with a 24" door very easily, and may vote with his feet and move to your competitor with a wider closet doors.

Sports are important especially during football season.

We always get people wanting to rent for shutdown work at the power plant but we are usually already  booked for some dates in the fall due to Clemson football games and other reasons.

I think they did much better than most, however they required single room occupancy for on-campus housing and do not have a football program.
