The seller, who is developing and in control of the entire retail/commercial/entertainment/residential development needed the proceeds of the proposed purchase now.

For example, I have a lot of travel rewards from company travel that I can use for personal use, I have an entertainment budget for customers, I have a company car/gas, I get comped meals during the week.

As entertaining as it is, the "how to discourage parents" only discourages GOOD parents -- the bad ones will still move in, because they are desperate. 

I like this idea, so we can still maximize the rest of the .19 acre lot for some outdoor entertainment and parking for all the units.  

Or bring a sitter with you, and that person could entertain your toddler away from the group, while you focus on the group talk. :) One thing is for sure--find a way to meet up and do it! 

I think I can’t go wrong holding onto it, just entertaining the thought of letting that equity do more for me from a sale.

Restaurants, supermarket and all entertainment are all within walking distance.
