While it was out I provided electric heaters for the tenant to use, and the unusually warm weather we've enjoyed lately, and the apartment's location surrounded by other heated apartments, meant it was still habitable during the furnace outage, albeit cooler than normal.

You can even be cooler at your parties by telling folks you own a large apartment community of over 200 to 300 units and can spend plenty of time w/family and friends.

The other issue with those in FL is the air coming in is humid and your house is cooler so it will condense and can encourage mold and mildew growth.Now if they're the casement style cranks then leave them alone as I'm sure you won't likely increase your value by that much in the area.

This works better with a larger air compressor that puts out more CFM, ideally more than 3 CFM is what you want.Walk around and make sure all faucets are shut off.

HVAC was still intact, but I added two swamp coolers to the units for renter retention (renters moved in 2 years ago and havent heard a peep from them since).

They worked out great when there was no ac because air came up through the non insulated cavity and kept the house cooler.
