From a cost perspective, do also keep in mind that it may be worth it to pay a few extra bucks for someone you're looking to build a long-term relationship with if you really think you are a good match with them.

if you're going to be buying a major investment, it's worth it to go there in person.a lot of investors who bought houses sight unseen regretted it later... you want to see the house, be there for the inspection, meet your team, etc.why not 'invest' in that way?

It always feels to me like an apartment view when you start with interiors, just my opinion. your house is awesome though and looks like you take great care of it and the guests 

Is that worth it?

Example you are owner operator and it clears 200k a year profit so at a 3 multiple worth 600k about as a business.

I would calculate how much your time is worth as an REI (outside of your W2).

I don't care about any lost money - not worth it.
