@Kyle Hipp I had to search on BP for prescreen : ) I have a for rent sign out front of house and they call.If I put up a paper at a store or gas station it has the info on it .

They might do a couple of social media posts about it, but I wouldn't expect a mass mailing that would basically parrot everything that's been in the news, on TV and the radio for the past 3 years.

We didn't it worked out okay but I see other people here are not so lucky.Horror stories well for landlording many are the same issues as single families with the exception that in MF they can hear what goes on next store so sometimes that 's not so good.

There are proactive and preventative things that can be done to "catch" bed bugs at an early stage and needs to be shared with your renters.You educate them on bed bugs and have them sign an acknowledgement that they have read the materials and will stay aware and on top of what and where they contact bed bugs (i,e, travel,buying used furniture, shopping at thrift stores, etc)Nip it now so that you don't have to go through this again in the future because the risk gets greater especially if someone has a severe reaction to the bites - guess who gets sued?

I'm afraid a sloppy tenant may not be as careful as I would when storing boxes and junk next to the gas furnace, water heater and the myriad of gas lines.
