Tenant using attic storage space

The attic of one of my rentals has plywood flooring layed. I don't want tenants using the attic for storage since this area contains the HVAC, water heater and natural gas lines. I'm afraid a sloppy tenant may not be as careful as I would when storing boxes and junk next to the gas furnace, water heater and the myriad of gas lines.

I'm going to place this restriction in future leases for this property, but does anyone else restrict attic storage for your tenants?

None of my attics contain any critical equipment, but we write into the lease that using the space for any storage is at the tenant's own risk.
