And state that you'd obviously do a lot of the leg work, you'd just need to be shown what to do.Then offer, if they have any other needs in their business, that you're really hungry to get involved and to learn the business, so if they needed help answering phones, cleaning toilets or whatever, that you'd love an opportunity to work with them and help out.

Meant  to add.. and if we didn't finish completely we'd come back and do touch up after new tenant was in. they were usually busy unpacking so could have cared less if we had to put up a blind or replace ceiling fan type, or add a new toilet seat..

@Lionel Henderson I don't know squat about securing financing in the LBC (lived there for a few years) but I'll give you my perspective from going through the whole "lend me money for a 5+ unit apartment".
