However, if you're trying to flip and do this full-time and you're new, I'd just diversify your funds into different asset types (blue chip stocks, bonds, ETFs, etc) and like Jay said, look also into syndication deals.

I am based in south Florida, I am an IT guy by profession and have been in this industry for the past 12 years, up until 2017 the only connection I had with Real Estate is my primary home.From listening to podcasts and reading few books I've realized that Real Estate is the investing vehicle I want to go forward with, I am not a fan of stocks but funneled money to my 401k all these years just like most other folks do. .
