Hi folks on BP. My name is VamC, I am a new member on BP, just wanted to introduce myself to the folks out here. I am based in south Florida, I am an  IT guy by  profession and have been in this industry for the past 12 years, up until 2017 the only connection I had with Real Estate is my primary home.

From listening to podcasts and reading few books I've realized that Real Estate is the investing vehicle  I want to go forward with, I am not a fan of stocks but funneled money to my 401k all these years just like most other folks do. . Last December(2017) I partnered with my brother and 2 other friends and bought 4 rental properties(Single Family Homes) through a turn key company, these properties are in C class neighborhoods. We are now planning to buy homes in Midwest in  B Class neighborhoods so we can compare and decide what class of neighborhood we are most comfortable with.

Since all 4 of us have jobs, investing in Real Estate  is primarily to generate enough passive income to fund our lifestyle and then go full time with investing and eventually retire from our jobs :-)  I hope I can network with other awesome folks on this site and learn a thing or two about investing in Real Estate. We definitely wanted to stay away from analysis-paralysis phase so we went ahead and bought the 4 properties, we hope those properties will be a good learning experience for us. If we screw up, we definitely won't give up :-) we will try to learn from the experience and listen to folks out here so we can do better the next time..Happy investing folks..
