I'm just saying that you can't charge them a fee that would be assessed as a pet fee simply for having the pet.

About to consider allowing dogs or dogs and cats, what is pet fee, etc.

I like to make sure if folks say there will be 2 guests, there are only 2 guests and no pets in the property.

The other option is a hefty pet rent per dog on top of a large pet deposit but even then it probably won't be enough to cover the costs.

As we are in compliance with fair housing laws we of course complied with her request to have a cat even though the property was listed as “no pets”.
