I had originally posted asking what people who are in the pursuit of FIRE did when it came to health insurance.I was reading the 4 Hour Work Week and the author recommends a few sites for health insurance.

Recourse shouldn't scare you if you know what you're doing.

Wishing you new to investing folks - good luck, when I started in this business, about 45 years ago- I needed some good luck --- I was scared of not knowing what I didn't know, of contracts, of making a mistakes, of others taking advantage of me, my wife's criticism and the fear of loss!

I looked for houses that first time buyers would be scared of and made offers 10-20% higher than what an all cash investors/flippers would ask.

I am targeting the providence RI area due to colleges and the city starting to boom because Boston’s getting way to pricey (lives there for the past 4 years so I know it’s worth the commute in from Prov) but the taxes scare me a little bit so I wouldn’t mind grabbing units in the south eastern part of mass, like Fall River or Taunton.

Funny with the electricity it used to scare me also.

I'm interested in the area solely because of what Metro Health is doing.

Transfer tax, stepped up basis, depreciation, wife, health, age, control, beneficiaries, income tax rate, asset protection, and tax laws all should be considered. 

There is a moldy futon in the basement, and it may be one of his ways of trying to scare off any potential buyers

I CAN however put a sign on the side of our duplex stating that This half of the drive is private property and any unregistered vehicle will be towed at the discretion of the owner to scare her off.
