Thus, I am looking at passive real estate investing via good syndications.What are the pros and cons of of SF VS Mf passive in terms of:* tax sheltering w2 income (depreciation, expenses, etc) * income tax rates on passive income VS active income* performance and cash flow reliability By selling my SFHs and investing passively,what do I lose?

I'm more familiar with single family homes, but not by much from an investing perspective.Fix and flip and other more active forms of investing are interesting to me and I may branch into it later on, but I'd like to start more in the long game.

Hell All,It's been awhile since I have been active on bigger pockets but for good reasons. :) After much reading and podcasting I decided to leverage the equity in my properties in the Palm Springs,CA area and do 1031 exchanges for Multifamily properties in Memphis, TN where I had one 4 unit complex already.
