Odds are I'm simply going to get my earnest money back and move on.I'm not a fan of borrowing money to invest, but if you really want to do it then what you could do is this: get a line of credit (LOC) or hard money loan, close on the house and fix it up using that cash, then once you're done with the work get permanent financing to pay off your LOC.

I'm a big fan of Zillow, but their API data is not what you see on their site and it's only useful for example data, and should not be relied on for any serious value analysis.
