Better to buy in the surrounding towns.

Our property has a pool, and the perceived liability issues surrounding that fact alone are causing me a great deal of stress.

I would think whatever you do you want it to fall in line with the current and future market conditions surrounding the property.

I am looking in the surrounding areas of Hoboken like Union City, Weehawken, West New York ect. 

I like to buy the worst house on the best block I can afford because fixing it up to the standard of the surrounding properties is much easier than moving it to a better location.  

I got it for $40k I put $30k in rehab and we thought it would appraised for $80k based on surrounding properties.

Needless to say, rezones are not something that jurisdictions take lightly because they are responding to the jurisdictional authorities (city councils and mayors offices) as well as the surrounding community, which is why it takes so long.

You should be able to determine an affordable market rent based on other surrounding areas and similar type houses.The rest of the details should be discussed with an attorney to make sure all parties are protected.

Hi all, I have been looking to invest in the Orlando market and its surrounding areas for awhile (open to other areas).

We just went under contract on our first rental property in 80911 (we've historically only bought our rentals north/west of the airport) and wouldn't mind picking up a few more surrounding the airport later this year.
