@Daniella Ortiz My main suggestion is sit to discuss clearly what you and him want from this business relationship and what will be the responsibilities of both.

I am way to ADD to sit at a desk from 9-5.I am recently married, own my home, and have a large amount of debt!

Too much of my reserves to be sitting in a property and that means I can't buy more deals until I build that amount back up again.I'm surprised you're able to do the same thing with multifamily.

The house had been sitting on the market for about 8 months and was extremely overpriced - starting at $109k and had slowly fallen to $90k.  

I've seen people go crazy on the asking with just clean-out & framing work done and it sits for a year(s) due to overprice on the flipside.

And you baby sit the duplex til it pays off.
