Newbie from Memphis, TN

Hey my name is Darren and I live in Memphis. I'm 25 and fairly new to REI. I have a little experience with rental properties because my dad owns 4 duplexes but he isn't very active in the market. I'm currently a manager at T-Mobile where I make good money but I really want to make a living off of real estate! I plan on attending my local REIG this month to meet some new people and possible find a mentor. I've also been reading a lot of articles/books and listening to podcast but I'm at the point where I just need to get out and do something!

Check out the podcast on here they are really good and will help you in your learning curve, also if you have time read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad it is an awesome book for new and experienced real estate professionals.
