As others have mentioned, shipping container self-storage units will not be direct competitors with traditional built self-storage. 

They're all the 2-4 story skinny town homes we're so familiar with.

If you are doing it (or paying someone to do it) it should be built into the rent price.  

I will get a hold of one here in town today and try and figure out the best plan of attack.

So I know I've built equity into the house.

I would say I've built a pretty good relationship with her so far.

If so, the vinyl may be expanding too much (i.e. the window was not built correctly)(2) If all windows are doing this, is there structural problems with the building (i.e. do you see cracking in the masonry).You would not be able to screw in the vinyl as that will only cause more future damageIf all windows are doing this, I would lean towards faulty windows but hard to tell without being there to see it. 

As a Designer and someone who lives in a near-by neighborhood, I want to be a part of our town's re-development and have identified these vacant lots as somewhere I would like to find investors to work with to build new homes sprinkled in to this particular neighborhood, which is right on the edge of downtown.While the real estate prices for existing homes in this area aren't great, new construction prices around town for other developments are running $175,000-$250,000.

Make sure to do a thorough market demand study and stay away from small towns that are not growing or producing jobs.

I will be in town this weekend and Monday and I am interested in making some new connections in local real estate.
