Maybe if its big enough and it supports it , manager can make deposits ( at bank or consider remote depositer) with you getting supplemental paperwork.

Don't do this, don't buy at the bottom of asset class and try to manage it remotely.

A virtual or remote bookkeeper would be more than sufficient.

Daria,  I'm not sure if your mother's desire is to remain in Paterson, but if it is, the new senior complex (Freedom Village) at 69 Straight St looks very nice and the builders seem to have put in some nice features, the website states apartments start at $1100. 

Doubling back I can't omit the fact that every single one of the investors featured worked their buts off to get  to where they are now and I need to do the same for the sake of my "why"!

Remote managing one home 3-4 hours away for a couple $100 is going to be a nightmare.

Video chat from kiosk, mobile app entry, and remote access seem to be features that would add value to the residents. 

What if a bank or lender had those features, would that be ok?
