He says the bank would be willing to do a short sale, and his neighbor down the street in a similar house and debt said he did a short sale of his house for $140k and believes he can get the same deal, and offered it to me.The house is in a VERY nice neighborhood and the town is where all the high income families live.

I think it's beneficial being on Clifford opposed to an off-street since Clifford has heavy traffic which results in less property crime.

It has pockets of great neighborhoods interspersed within pockets of "war zones", new houses on the same streets as old houses, tiny track houses next to large custom houses, several schools have closed in the last couple years; just a lot of variables that you can only know by learning your market.
