The types of wholesalers that send out 50,000+ letters/month. The owner can't possibly take that many calls and run that many comps, view all those houses and make offers.This is not the kind of work you can outsource...

If the bank took it back they are going to want a fair market value offer presented to them, so they usually list it with a local brokerage or put it on a website for auctions.

If you go to a Home Depot they have a Contractor Relations desk - You can ask the manager for a 10% discount on a large purchase - I've done this a couple of times and had success!

I worked as land manager for one of the largest home builders for three years just prior to the crash, but was only responsible for property due diligence, and construction of roads, utilities, and site work for large projects; not individual single family home rehabs or individual / small scale new home communities.
