I'll try to convince them that reporting issues is cheaper for their pockets than not doing it :) Most of them (except 2) do report problems immediately, even small ones.

I currently have a 16 acre parcel zoned as rural residential 10 that I would like to break into 3 parcels, essentially re-zoning as rural residential 5, but our county has recently buckled down on parcel divisions so I want to hear what others have done to get the county to grant a re-zoning request or an exception for a specific lot/ lots.

If the seller excepts that letter it is no official contract so if you've moved on to something else you would not have to honor that offer.

It was just sort of all the same, with the exception of a few busy roads where there was a large mixture of residential and converted commercial properties (buildings that were originally purposed for residential, but now zoned commercial).I did by chance pass by one Commercial property that had a very well maintained and remodeled house with a separate converted garage.
