There is so little inventory and people search for the right home for months and months and eventually give up and take anything that they didn't get overbid on.I was telling my friend last night about a tiny property in Mt Washington (area that most of Angelenos is confused as of where it is located - near Eagle Rock) that came on the market about 2 months ago at $405K.

Yes we have competition and there are plenty of "multiple offer situations" however with due diligence and a keen eye on the market it's not overly difficult to meet that criteria.

The first lesson that "investors" MUST LEARN is to DO YOUR HOMEWORK.I just wish that all the the potential investors out there would just come and read this post before getting all googly eyed about the promise of profits flipping.
