I would start thinking about the ways you might want to run your business (cold calling, open houses, etc) and make sure you pick a brokerage who has support for which ever activity you think best fits you.

Obviously cold calling is a way to get quicker business but if you’re interested in building a true sales business, provide value and let people know you’re in real estate.

We run a wholesale mastermind group and we meet every Monday from 5-6 pm for accountability and cold calling. 5-6 pm is discussing/analyzing deals and then 6-8 pm is dialing.

I'd start pressing for answers...You shouldn't have to pay for two attorneys - it may be time to ask your agent to clarify, and if they don't understand - they should consult their broker for advice.
