If not, you get a higher rent and can hold off on the updates/tenant turnover.If it is quick, surface level type of work - talk to the tenants and see if they have any weekend/week trips planned.

You will find by being open, sellers will be more likely to help you buy their property.I also like to get a little personal; what are going to do with all that money, go on a trip, pay bills, buy some new for yourself?

That definitely helps helps to know that the appraisers would make a few trips to the home to check on these things.
