Windows are an easy DIY, are less than $200 each and at that price will help with resell.

What I thought was going to do a simple diy on my well, turned into almost a whole weekend ordeal that involved cutting rusted together fittings and sourcing new ones that would spring a leak (thanks for "great" lowes quality on their 1" barb fittings from china...) - whose great idea was it to create pipe threads that need either tape or pipe dope to actually seal?

I'm looking to do some landscaping and small DIY projects.

Step learning curve for DIY, but EASY if you involve pros.

If DIY-ing it is an option, I'd go that route.

The DIY kits at Home Depot for $200 are not going to hold up.
