I’m not a huge fan of adding technology for technology’s sake.

I agree with most of this advise that you should communicate with the seller that you're still on board and trying to make this happen, explaining your difficulties with the lender specifically, AND your plans for next steps to help remedy.

The whole industry is being transformed by technology and it is predicted that the future will require less agents. 

We are having difficulty finding financing.

In the end it saves you time because you aren't traveling to an office for a meeting and the added bonus of a technologically advanced tax pro makes the process more efficient.The best way would be to schedule consultations and get a feel for if their communication style works with yours.Best of luck!
