hey Bp so Im going in be closing on first house hack in a couple weeks. its a duplex with one side already rented out. tenant been there 3 years and on month to month lease but still wants to stay.. according to seller. my question is how do I inform the tenant that I will be buying house and where to send payment too??

To my surprise, Jonathan claimed no knowledge of this situation; I sensed some defensiveness on our call.The damage to the home was extensive enough to require two holes to be patched in the roof and a small hole in the bathroom ceiling to be repaired.

On the flip side if we keep it until the loan matures (8 years) we’ll have a nice nest egg to fall back on assuming the housing market stays in good shape, and it’ll likely continue to appreciate but our cash flow as a percentage of the equity won’t be great.
