Stephen,I am not sure with Connecticut but in PA i believe the Parent LLC is not recognized as a separate entity. in other words if one of the llc's gets sued and they find that a Parent LLC owns it, i believe they can reach through that llc to any other LLC you own, you are best to check with an Attorney on that.
