The American standard of living is declining and poorer people don’t buy homes, especially when jobs are concentrated in expensive areas and NIMBYism prevents any low cost housing from being built near the jobs. 

Is it better to make an offer at the price you expect to come in at to prevent this situation and test the sellers elasticity?

It is currently up in the air whether the FD will require access to be brought up to current standards to permit rebuilds.

From a wealth generation perspective the duplex has been great, but it's preventing us from buying a new home for ourselves.I can't be the first person to have run into this problem.

The Air conditioning wasn't turned on before she came in and it was too hot (tried saving electricity no one in home).

I also use only Netflix and Prime and actually because of poor reception I don’t have over the air channels either.

There's lots of things that can potentially go wrong, from overrunning budgets, to having trouble with permits, to finding that there is an endangered species on the property that prevents you from building at all.
