I have not closed with hard money lenders, but given the narrowing margins between bank rates and hard money lenders, i believe now is good time to assess their financial products. 

The meters have a metal band around them with a lock on it (or at least they should).If the bands are missing, the meters could be swapped.Maybe the electric company is reading the incorrect meter and billing you for that.You could also ask the renters if their bill is tiny.

I would just be sure that you have a Plan B and C, mainly that the numbers work as a MTR or LTR.

So if I dont pay electricity on house A that i live in, than move to house B and actually pay electricity in house B, the power on house B won’t get shut off because of my prior delinquency on house A.

In order to be more specific with what might specifically work out for you, we would need to know which area you work in (reasonable commute times) and budget as mentioned above would be also key to narrow down options.

(Of course if you have a preference here that helps narrow things even further.)

By running it as an extended stay and doing a continuous weekly rental you are removing a lot of the inconsistencies and are able to have a more narrow support staff.
