Fortunately where we live, we can use public transit, and there are 3-plexes.  

And I'm fortunate to live in a market that's experiencing an unprecedented amount of growth and opportunity.  

Let me first explain about a situation I was fortunate enough to be put in.  

You are fortunate to have resources like BP and others, to help guide and motivate you toward your goals.

My father in-law and I started together he was around that same age...we both have about 2m in equity each  now in our holdings.Now to be fair we were in a fortune time in the market (of course it's very easy to say now that it's in the past).I'll leave you with this Warren Buffett made the majority of his wealth after the age of 60 And if you ask him when will you have enough he will say "when I make just a little bit more"Go get 'em!!

Both parents did, grandparents, and so on.I was fortunate to have grants offsetting part of the cost.

I'm fortunate to do this full time, but I put in 20-30 hours a week solely on locating and analyzing potential deals from a variety of sources for myself and my partners.  

Fortunately for me I have been in the business for couple of years, (I am Realtor here in NY) and work with some solid & loyal investors. 

Fortunately, that piece has been manageable for me.  4. 

I was very fortunate to inherit a great tenant who virtually lets me do anything I want on his unit any time.
