Takoma Park has them but the rent control there will kill you.Keep in mind that even in the places I mentioned they only exist in extremely small numbers.

I own all the properties outright, no mortgages.Also, if Trump's bill passes and the corporation tax is set to 15-20%, does that mean it would affect my LLC and will be extremely beneficial to route all my profits through that?

Unfortunately without a contract, verbal agreements aren't worth much.... this happens quite often...I always try to stress contracts if your extremely interested in a property... sometimes others get contracts/offers in faster so it's just part of the game.

I wouldn't want to do real estate full time, but just to save on costs when flipping houses in the future.As far as having someone in Portland to manage things while i'm gone, I have one very very close friend that is extremely responsible and willing to help out whenever needed.
