I don't know what, but all the stores shut down (almost overnight) and the Walnut Mall was virtually abandoned.

Educate the public on how to report potential slumlords, collect the reports, investigate to find the bad actors, and then hammer them into compliance or shut them down.

Trying to check in with Northern Virginia (Arlington, Falls Church, Alexandria, Fairfax, etc) or Washington DC/Montgomery county investors to see if you guys had any recommendations on DC area local banks that will do HELOCs on rental properties, the first four or five that I've called have been more than willing to do so on a vacation house or a primary residence, but not on a rental...any ideas are appreciated. 

She allegedly ran off w/ millions of $$$ of customers' escrow funds (including 1031 money), and the Texas Dept. of Insurance shut them down when they ran out of money.  

This could be good and it could also be really bad if Davis-Monthan AFB ever downsizes or shuts down.  

While there are deals to be found, they are limited and one must be creative with location, use and understand what American renters are expecting during their 3-5 year "European Vacation" I have however been in Europe for over ten years and been witness to many of the US military communities downsizing or outright shutting down.

Should I be worried about them shutting me down or contacting the city to revoke my STR license, even though I’ve done nothing wrong?

It is in good location as well, less than a mile from the church and the school.What I am asking for is if anyone has any ideas/suggestions as to what you would do in this situation?
