Sounds like there would need to be some repairs so if they do decide to move, you would have some down time and lost rent as well as the repairs to bring it back up to rent ready.

I had no damage beyond the pipes themselves, and as a point of reference it ran about $3k for them to do the repair work and get the system itself back up and running.

In either case especially given the timing of this item I'm thrilled with how it went.Late April 2018: We initiated a call also to HomeServe when we had a severe (nasty) backup with a lateral floor drain on one of our rentals.
