Start going to REIA's and network with people, find out who the big players are and try to surround yourself with them, get educated in the field that way as well as reading blogs, listening to podcasts and asking questions here on BP!

As a beginner, with no experience of your own, this is the place you want to surround yourself with experts.

There is a lot of overhead in all of this relative to what I have seen thus far from iFunding, but admittedly I don't have all of iFunding's documents yet because I am not sure I want to sign their NDA due to some overlap in us using some of the same securities attorneys they do possibly.From the promoter side all of the sites I have interacted with so far are lawyered up pretty heavily; presumably to limit their liability with the uncertainty surrounding this new industry.The bar of 50 investors was pretty easy for us to pass on Fundrise's site.

They are great with most of the surrounding city.

Having the wrong or inadequate insurance policy is almost worse than not having insurance at all.I currently live in the Denver area, but will be relocating to the Pacific Northwest region (likely to Seattle/surrounding area, since I won't be able to afford to live in Seattle when I first move there).
